Welcome to Photo Tales

Photo Tales is a project that encourages and trains people living with disadvantage to take personal photographs that illustrate a tale from their life.

We are currently delivering our life and photography skills training module to our second group and news of our progress is published weekly on the Blog page. The exhibition of Group 2′s work will be on show in the White Room @ the Grand Theatre from Thursday 7th June until Friday 15th June.

Group 3 – Week 5 Self Portraits

Moving on from Portraits, where the finished image was a product of negotiation between subject and photographer, this week we tackled self portraits. First up we had free creative brief to take photographs of ourselves by any means: self timer, tripod, assistant, reflections, shadows etc were all possible and used in the images below.

After that we were all invited to unleash our inner self through a lego person. We all thoroughly embraced this and a variety of creative images are displayed below.
